Elon Musk Lost 13 kgs with Ozempic and Intermittent Fasting

Elon Musk Using Ozempic

Elon Musk is considered the most successful and richest person nowadays. In a recent tweet about his weight loss, Elon Musk said that he lost 13 kg of weight by Intermittent fasting and Wegovy, a high-dose formulation of Ozempic.

Ozempic is considered a celebrity drug as the TikTok trend of weight loss by celebrities using Ozempic is still highly viewed.

The celebrities promoting this highly potent diabetes drug resulted in a worldwide shortage and diabetes patients are facing a lot of problems because the drug is out of stock.

In addition, patients with Type 2 Diabetes on Ozempic are switching to alternative medicines such as Liraglutide (Victoza), and Dulaglutide (Trulicity).

Healthy Weight Loss with Ozempic:

When you use weight loss pills, you accept their short-term and long-term side effects. People with diabetes are reluctant to start diabetes medications when they are diagnosed because of the side effects.

Most people will starve themselves to control their blood glucose without going on medications. But when they are told to lose weight, they opt for pills rather than diet and exercise.

People are more concerned about their looks than their health. This is also because the media and celebrities are promoting weight loss pills rather than doing exercise and opting for a low-calorie diet. Maybe taking pills is much easier than spending hours on workouts.

However, weight loss with pills is usually unhealthy weight loss which is associated with significant fatigue and low energy.

On the other hand, weight loss with exercise and a low-calorie diet is associated with a better feeling of being healthy and energetic.

To not lose energy and remain energetic while losing weight with Ozmepic, it is best to continue workout and other strategies like a low-calorie diet and intermittent fasting.

Secondly, Wegovy is only indicated if your BMI is more than 30 kg/m² or if your BMI is more than 27 kg/m² plus you have one weight-related medical condition like:

  • Diabetes
  • Hypertension
  • Dyslipidemia
  • Sleep apnea
