Mounjaro Face Before and After Pictures: Love the Change

Mounjaro Face

Mounjaro Face before and after pictures are posted here. These pics have been taken from social media platforms – Reddit and Facebook.

Mounjaro is a dual GLP-1 and GIP analog. The FDA approved it in 2022 (May 13th, 2022) for the treatment of individuals with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Because Mounjaro significantly affects satiety and causes postprandial fullness, it is associated with significant weight loss.

On November 8th, 2023, the FDA approved Zepbound for weight loss in non-diabetics as well as individuals with diabetes. Zepbound is a drug that is 100% similar to Mounjaro but has a different name.

Because the company thought to utilize the weight loss potential of Tirzepatide (Mounjaro), they gave it a different name.

Mounjaro Face Before and After Pictures:

What’s the big deal about Mounjaro Face? Mounjaro or Zepbound is currently the most potent weight loss drug approved so far by the FDA (as of today – 26th Jan 2024).

It is associated with significant weight loss and obese people are happy about it as it causes a weight loss of about 21%.

However, some people develop facial changes which are very obvious when they lose weight.

Facial changes in such patients are collectively termed “Mounjaro Face“, although this is not an official term.

Here are some Mounjaro Face before and after pictures:

I can’t see much difference but her face is obviously telling that she has lost body weight. The face is not typical of Mounjaro Face where the patient looks more aged and expressionless.

Why do people use the term “Mounjaro Face” or “Ozempic Face”?

We saw people showing their weight loss success stories on their faces. However, when we say Mounjaro face, we refer to an uglier, thin, sad, gaunt, and expressionless face.

This description is rare and may affect only those people who lose significant weight in a short time.

In addition, these people are usually those who adopt unhealthy weight loss practices such as prolonged fasting and strenuous exercises which their body can not tolerate.

Dehydration, fat loss, and visible wrinkles all result in an aged old expressionless face.

It is advisable to stick to healthy weight loss practices and maintain adequate hydration while using Mounjaro or Ozempic.
